| The partners Leslie Marcarelli
and John Naizby have a diverse back-ground of legal and business experience. They
both measure the success of the practice by the satisfaction of the clients whom
they have chosen to represent. They both have experience with firms and governmental
agencies of different sizes. They have taken this practice and implemented the
best of those entities while trying to limit the short comings of each. It is
this approach and this philosophy that has led them to develop the team approach
to each area of practice and service which the firm offers. Each area of practice
has a team leader and is supported by an appropriate staff of professionals in
order to maximize the ultimate goal which is achieving client needs in a pre-legal
and then a legal setting if necessary. Attorney Marcarelli has experience
working with businesses and trade associations both in publishing and implementation
formats. She also has experience working on Capitol Hill. It is this type of background
which complements her business practice and allows her to have an understanding
of business concerns which are often overlooked by attorneys with strictly legal
training. Attorney Marcarelli's practice focuses on the area of commercial litigation.
The team she leads is responsible for addressing the needs of small and large
business of all types. She has devoted a great number of years to developing the
model of pre-legal and legal debt collection services which the firm offers. The
portfolios under her management consist of commercial, retail and municipal accounts.
She has developed her skills both has an advocate and confident to clients and
continues to stay on the cutting edge of this type of service. She is a member
of the Commercial Law League, Connecticut Creditors Rights Attorney's Association,
and the Commercial Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. She is a graduate
of National Institute of Trial Advocacy and has completed course work required
for certification as a municipal tax collector. She holds licenses to practice
law in the states of Connecticut and Florida. (click
for disclaimer) Attorney John F. Naizby, is certified as a Civil Trial
Advocate by the National
Board of Trial Advocacy, and limits his practice area to civil litigation.
Attorney Naizby is also a member of the Million
Dollars Advocates Forum, which is limited to trial lawyers achieving
a verdict or settlement in the amount of One Million dollars or more. John has
dedicated himself to sharpening his skills as a trial attorney through advanced
study at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, numerous regional and national
seminars, and in 2000, John was chosen to attend noted trial lawyer Gerry Spence's
Trial Lawyer's College. After graduating from the college, John was invited to
join the faculty. In addition to teaching lawyers at the Trial Lawyer's College,
John has given a trial demonstration for members of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers
association. Attorney Naizby holds licenses to practice law in the states of Connecticut
